As well as playing senior football and coaching in the early morn-
ing, Sam enjoys being involved in the other junior teams and has
been a true clubman and mentor for many junior football players.
We congratulate Sam on his dedication to the Southern Eagles
BRONTE was an outstanding
helper within the Ardrossan
Football Club in 2012.
With help required in coach-
ing Auskick and under 10
groups, Bronte was keen to be an
assistant coach as his son was at
that age level. Every Thursday,
Bronte would start work early so
he could attend training to give
assistance to the club's future
Bronte also umpired under
10s on Saturdays when required
and during the season umpired
the majority of under 14 games
as the Ardrossan umpire, a job
he did well.
Any other jobs for which the
club was short of helpers, Bronte
would step up and do without
umpiring senior colts and A
grade, and being car parking
attendant and security on pre-
liminary final day.
Bronte, a past player of the
club, is now keen to render assis-
tance whenever required for the
Ardrossan Football Club, which
feels Bronte is a worthy recipient
of the best club person award.

WALLAROO Football Club has
great pleasure in naming Gavin
Klingner as the recipient of the
YPCT club person award for sea-
Gav has had a busy year taking
on many roles and responsibili-
He has been junior president
for five years, and was A grade
and senior colts timekeeper, fill-
in runner and water boy.
Gav is always at home games
early, ensuring the oval is ready
for the minis to kick off, junior
grades have all their umpires and
match officials and the day starts
He is always the first to put his
hand up for whatever needs
doing and is a vital member of
the Sunday morning clean-up
Gav does all this with a smile
on his face and enjoys the cama-
raderie of his fellow members.
A father of two boys, "Boxer"
is right behind their footy and
gives them every opportunity to
get the most out of it.
Wallaroo Footy Club is proud
of Gavin; congratulations, for
being a worthy recipient.
THIS year's winner of the YPCT
club person award for the Bute
Football Club is Jarrad "The
Social committee organiser
Jarrad and his helpers have
organised a social event for
every home game; events
included goods and services
auctions, games night for kids,
and a dress-up night.
Jarrad was one of the organis-
ers who helped dismantle about
3.5km of fence for the new
walking trail and he personally
delivered it to Adelaide with his
He also put his hand up to be
the A grade runner for the sea-
son and turned up early to help
with Auskick, which his two
boys, Angus and Lucas, attend.
The main function of the year
for the footy club is the Cock
and Hen Ball at the town hall
which was a great success.
Jarrad and his wife Brigetta
both put numerous hours into
organising such a big show.
Without a doubt, Jarrad was a
clear winner of this award.

Liz and Mark Pridham
KADINA Football Club is
proud to award the 2012
YPCT club person of the
year award on a joint basis
to Mark and Liz Pridham
Mark and Liz have
made significant contri-
butions to the club this
season. Running the shed
barbecue for the year has
been an awesome effort in
time and culinary skills
providing egg and bacon
and steak sandwiches for
supporters and visiting
Mark and the boys (Brandon and Luke) also made a huge contri-
bution in the construction and erection of the new KFC scoreboard
and removed the old scoreboard. The design and precision construc-
tion was spot on and evidence of Prid's engineering skills.
Thank you from the Kadina Football Club and well done to Mark

Central Yorke Cougars Country
Times club person of the year.
Tim has been a long-term
contributor to the Cougars in a
wide range of areas. He started
with the club as a player when it
was was formed in 1997; he has
also been the club's auditor
throughout that period.

coordinated Auskick, coached

Tim is now chairman of the
Cougars junior committee and
will be representing the Cougars
at a junior league level.
Tim's enthusiasm and passion
for his football club are a great

Andrew Parsons and
CMS Crows joint best club person award win
ners are Andrew "Drewsal" Parsons and Troy
Troy has been with the club since his junior
days and Andrew played junior and early senior
football here before moving away with work bu
returned to the CMS flock this year.
Besides being integral parts of our A grade
football team, they shared umpiring the under
10s on Saturdays, a job appreciated by coach
parents and boys.
Often seen having a kick with the kids, they
both also helped with coaching the minis.
Both have been active members of the CMS Crows social committee,
Goldy being more the organising-and-making-sure-everything-is-done
type and Drewsal always keen to be heard on the night.
Troy and Andrew helped in the canteen on Saturdays and did their
share of running water for the junior grades.
They were willing to help in any way the club required and this was
combined with their own football training and playing duties.

THERESA Hewett has been a
valued member of the

sons all playing for the club, she
has filled a number of roles.
Theresa is secretary of the
Committee and has also filled the
position of secretary for the colts
committee at association level.
She is a trainer and has been a
timekeeper for the junior and
senior colts for a number of years.
Theresa is always willing to
help in any capacity, whether it be
washing guernseys or helping
with Thursday night teas.
She has been instrumental in
organising fundraising events
such as trivia nights and teas at
Mundoora to help raise money
for the colts committee. Some of
this money goes towards a bus

Grant and his wife Paula have
two young lads, Ben and Nick

the mighty Demons.

such as Grant within the club the
show would not go on, so the
club extend its thanks for his
efforts this season, as it does to
all other volunteers.

DAVID took on the
role as bar manager
this year and has done
a brilliant job.
As well as continu-
ing to play B grade and
run his farm, he has
managed to do the
ordering, picking up
stacking the coolroom
and shelves, cleaning
and sorting empties
and taking the empties
to the recyclers; as we
have had no keg beer
this year, this has been a mammoth job.
He has spent countless hours at the club making sure the bar is
ready for Thursday night trainings, Saturday football and club
functions, plus cleaning up afterwards.
Y ou could not find a more loyal club person and behind-the-
scenes hard-worker. David is a worthy recipient of the YPCT
